The 35th ICANN Meeting ends today with a Board Meeting to deliberate
on how the entire weeklong meeting had progressed for the multi
stakeholder organization and its communities of registrars,
registries, business users, etc. Preparations are also underway
for the 36th ICANN to be held in Seoul, South Korea in October.
The first in the agenda of the ICANN Board is the designation
of the upcoming Seoul meeting as ICANN's Annual General Meeting.
Therefore, it is expected that the meeting in Seoul will be
highly attended by participants from all over the world.
Meanwhile, Netpia.Com, one of the biggest registrars in Korea

necessary preparations to welcome the ICANN participants in
four months' time.
Other matters that were discussed in the board meeting include
the ongoing review of the structure of ICANN’s present geographic
regions, the approval of ICANN's FY2010 budget, approval of

Registration Data, as well as updates on the new gTLD process
among others.
